GasunieGasunie is the obvious choice when it comes to transporting natural gas: everyone gets theirs through Gasunie pipes, whether the source is the Norwegian Atlantic or the Low Countries’ own bubbles: as suits a Dutch monopolist. At Fabrique I have been designing for them for 6 years, doing intranet, web sites for various business units, interactive presentations, and other intangible but valuable resources. The most recent web-sites were largely art-directed by me while working at Fabrique. Corporate identity by G2K. |
Corporate website — Abstract, graphic, communicating the essence of the company: pushing gas from here to there. [ art-direction | design ] ⁄⁄ open site |
![]() Locations — One of the things that characterizes the company is the design of their headquarters: organic, alive, beautiful. [ art-direction | design ] |
![]() Headquarters — To explore headquarters, a popup is provided in the same style. Intuitive paging and an esthetic design. [ design ]⁄⁄ open popup |
![]() Gasunie Engineering & Technology — This business unit is the brains behind the operation: doing the research, setting out the long-term lines. This site is definetely a sibling of the corporate one. [ design ] ⁄⁄ open site |
![]() Illustration detail — I painted them as a think tank with its roots running underground. [ design ] |
![]() Intranet — Gasunie has an extensive intranet with lots of extraordinary functionality, which has been a lot fun designing. [ art-direction | design ] |
![]() Buzzard — The buzzard is a bird of prey. We are but its victim: it sees through us and our petty HTML pages. The user reaps the findings. [ design ] |
![]() Keepin’ Score — Since Gasunie has been split due to energy legislation, they need to bring about change. One aspect is raising awareness about the company’s progress, on many fronts. [ design ] |
