Essent AwardsA major Dutch electricity supplier
sponsors upcoming Dutch musical talent by providing them with funds for recording
and free publicity. The style, developed at Fabrique by a team of designers including myself
, uses bold, block-like typography, arrows referring to stage tape and high-contrast imagery.
Photography is reduced to black and white using a horizontal line-screen,
giving that rock and roll feel and making a wide variety of photography useable.
After developing the style I have brought it to a wide variety of media
as well as directing others in its application. |
