Captivating Sounds

A techno dance label owned by Warner Music Benelux, Captivating Sounds wanted a strong and unique online presence that was at the same time manageable. We outdid ourselves to achieve pixel-perfectness online, including using Microsoft WEFT technology to embed pixel fonts which gave a distinct look without the painful cliché of a full-flash pixel site, thereby avoiding the difficulties in developing and maintainance of the site. Unfortunately, due to problems at the label regarding content and the server, the site never went live.

Animated logo and navigation — Can you feel this logo? Made by me in flash, responding to mouse movement and adding life to the experience. Launch dummy HTML Please note: pixel font-embedding was licensed for a server other than my own, and hence won't be visible.
This will lead to slight differences in alignment and lay-out.

Home — Logo, navigation and visuals are very prominent, drawing the viewer in. Note the very simple player at bottom left, which lists the artist playing: the latest release upon entering the site. In the music catalog other tracks can be selected to play. Sorry, no tunes online :-(
