26.11.2007 » Join me — I’ve succumbed to the small pleasures of facebook, just when I thought I couldn’t deal with another social network. While still a far cry from replacing actual face-to-face contact, it does allow me to feel closer to my friends US side—and waste lots of my precious time! 20.10.2005 » New site design — How do you like it? I’ve had it on the shelf for a while but finally got around to implementing the design. What’s that you say? People visit sites for the content? Owhh maahhnn!! All that work for nothing? (I’m not telling about the updated Reload page or the page about the Gasunie projects). I can tell you that the Lowlands website won the Nederlandse Designprijs in the category interactive. I’m proud to have contributed to the concept and made a lot of animations for it. «

Had a good trip to Madison and Minneapolis, and plenty of energy for all kinds of work. Below’s a snippet from a new wallpaper (all wallpapers) based on an image I took while behind the wheel at sundown on Highway 94 from Minneapolis back to Madison. Lowlands 2005 went live; my emphasis was on animation, some design. Later! «
